Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-A)

SLP REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • SLP license in North Dakota

  • CCCs / Active ASHA certification

SLP-A REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree from an accredited SLPA program

  • SLPA license

SLP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct services and parent coaching

  • Complete evaluations and written reports

  • Develop meaningful treatment plans with individualized therapy goals

  • Write daily notes

  • Develop home programming as appropriate

  • Participate in team meetings, community service, and workshops

SLP-A RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct screenings to identify speech impairments

  • Provide therapy under the direction of the speech-language pathologist (SLP)

  • Keep track of your patients' progress

  • Maintain files of patient information

  • Assist the speech-language pathologist in completing various administrative duties around the office

LOCATION & SCHEDULE

  • The Connect Speech Therapy office is based in Fargo, ND
